2020 ENERGY STAR Canada Manufacturer of the Year Award for electronics
Energy Star Award 2020

Ricoh Canada, Inc. is proud to announce that it has received the ENERGY STAR® Canada Manufacturer of the Year Award for Electronics for the second consecutive year. The award recognizes its excellence in the arena of advancing market transformation on energy efficiency in Canada. This latest recognition acknowledges Ricoh's hard work to promote environmental sustainability, through both manufacturing energy-efficient products and advocating sustainable practices in and outside the organization.

Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) 
We’ve obtained industry best scores in "Innovation Management," "Privacy Protection," "Environmental Policy/Management System" and "Climate Strategy." DJSI, compiled by Dow Jones and RobecoSAM Group, was the first global sustainability index to assess a company’s corporate sustainability from the economic, environmental and social developments aspects. Out of 2,500 companies around the world, Ricoh was one of 317 to be added to the DJSI World Index.

EcoVadis global supplier gold rating  
For the third year in a row, we received the highest gold rating in EcoVadis’ sustainability survey, ranking in the top 5% of all companies surveyed. EcoVadis assesses suppliers from 110 countries and across 150 business sectors on corporate policies, initiatives and achievements in areas concerning the environment, labor practices, fair business practices and supply chain. This gold rating demonstrates the economic, social and environmental issues values that drive our company, as well as our responsibility to continually improve our sustainability.

The Deming Award recognizes corporations and individuals who demonstrate an outstanding commitment to quality control, and whose products or inventions make exceptional advances in the pursuit of quality. Less than 100 select companies have won the Deming Award. Ricoh was the first office equipment manufacturer to win one — and today, we're the only such company to have won two. The criteria include corporate policy, quality systems, education and training, results and future plans.

Ricoh Canada received the highest honors at the Recycling Council of Ontario Awards Gala in Toronto, Ontario.The Recycling Council of Ontario are a not-for-profit membership-based organization involved in policy, education, and project work around the issues of consumption, waste generation, reduction and diversion, and recycling.
