Download the RICOH Smart Device Connector app to grab and print information directly from your smartphone or tablet without utilities or drivers. Scan documents to your personal mobile device with the app or save scans to a USB Flash Drive and take your work with you. You can even use the app to connect directly to Ricoh whiteboards and projectors for larger group presentations.
Maintain optimal uptime
Designed specifically to minimize downtime, the IM 430Fb includes How-To-Videos, FAQs and on-screen prompts pre-installed on the MFP to guide users through maintenance tutorials, troubleshooting and other helpful aids.. Other available features include device administration software, service and consumables alerts and real-time monitoring for optimal performance.

Transform how you reach audiences with advanced scanning and faxing capabilities. Use the Single Pass Document Feeder to scan up to 40 images per minute (ipm). Add the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) option to simplify storage and retrieval of scanned files via keyword search. With paperless faxing, you can send contracts, invoices and other forms quickly and economically.
Secure everyday accountability
Restrict the release of prints only to authorized users with Locked Print and minimize security threats with a Hard Disk Drive that encrypts transmitted data. When you add the optional Near Field Communications (NFC) Card Reader, users are required to have a proximity or ID card to access MFP controls. Add optional RICOH Streamline NX software to issue chargebacks to specific users and departments.
Send a message with confidence
Impress audiences with sharp text and clear images with up to 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution. Use the 100-Sheet Bypass Tray for specialty media — including thicker stocks, envelopes, labels and more — and Bypass Size Assist to prevent misfeeds by helping you correctly place custom-sized paper in the tray. Use the optional Offline Stapler to organize and prepare presentations and document sets easily.

- Optional offline stapler located on the side of the system providing walk-up users with the ability to conveniently staple printed output up to 20 sheets. The stapler can staple 1,000 times without reloading.

IEEE802.11 Interface Unit Type M24
- Allows MFP device to connect to the network over WiFi. Useful for temporary sites and locations where cabling is impractical.
Print/Scan & Connectivity Options
PostScript3 Unit Type M34
- Genuine Adobe® PostScript®3™. Recommended for printing more complex B&W and PDF files.
- The IM 305F, IM 430Fb and IM 430F come with standard PostScript3 Emulation and PDF Direct Print Emulation.
- This option is available for customers who require True Adobe® workflows like Photoshop®, Illustrator® and PDF/X as well as additional font support. When enabled on the MFP, the standard PostScript3 Emulation and PDF Direct Emulation will be disabled.
Print/Scan Options
Extended USB Board Type M19
- Required for printing from USB Type B port.
Notes:
Extended USB Board Type M19 cannot be installed with IEEE 1284 Interface Board Type M19, IEEE 802.11a/g/n Interface Unit Type M19, or File Format Converter Type M19.
File Format Converter Type M19
- Required to convert formats and drag to desktop documents stored via Copy or Print mode.

File Format Converter Type M19 cannot be installed with the following options: IEEE 1284 Interface Board Type M19, IEEE 802.11a/g/n Interface Unit Type M19, or Extended USB Board Type M19.

OCR Unit Type M13
- This function embeds invisible text on scanned images of PDF and enables users to search PDF files by arbitrary keywords. Searchable PDF files can be sent to email, folders, and external media (USB/SD Card).
PageKeeper Option Type M28
- PageKeeper accessory is a multi-feed detection sensor that automatically stops a scanning job if more than one page is fed through the SPDF.
USB Device Server Option Type M19A
- An interface board for adding an extra Ethernet port. If you install the USB Device Server Option, you can connect two Ethernet cables simultaneously: one to the machine's Gigabit Ethernet port and one to the Gigabit Ethernet port of USB Device Server Option. An IP address can be assigned to each connection and you can use one machine to print from different network segments.

USB Device Server Option Type M19A cannot be installed with IEEE 1284 Interface Board Type M19, IEEE 802.11a/g/n Interface Unit Type M19, File Format Converter Type M19, or Extended USB Board Type M19.
